Cher Président Barack Obama,

Quand en 2008 vous êtes devenu le 44ème Président des Etats-Unis d’Amérique, les espérances des peuples du monde étaient très hautes en ce qui a trait aux changements possibles que votre présidence pourrait provoquer non seulement aux Etats-Unis mais aussi dans le monde entier. Les valeurs que vous incarniez et que vous exprimiez si souvent symbolisaient aux yeux du monde une nouvelle ère de grande transformation et d’initiatives osées pour la paix mondiale.

En octobre 2009, le Comité du Nobel Norvégien concourût avec ces espérances et vous a octroyé le Prix Nobel de la Paix, évidemment non pas pour ce que vous aviez eu le temps d’accomplir pour la paix du monde en moins d’un an en fonction,  mais pour les actions que les citoyens du monde anticipaient que vous pourriez stimuler au cours de votre présidence.

Le prestigieux Comité de prix Nobel a cité:

  • “ Le Comité accorde une importance spéciale à la vision et au travail d’Obama pour un monde sans armes nucléaires”..
  • “Merci à l’initiative d’Obama, Les Etats-Unis  jouent maintenant un rôle plus constructif pour rencontrer les grands défis de changement de climat que le monde confronte”. 
  • “Obama a comme Président crée un nouveau climat dans la politique internationale. La diplomatie multilatérale a regagné une position centrale, avec l’emphase sur le rôle que les Nations-Unies et d’autres institutions internationales peuvent jouer ».

Nous, les citoyens du monde, recommandons que vous travailliez avec les Nations-Unies et d’autres organisations internationales pour:

  • Vous assurer que les droits fondamentaux de tous les enfants sur cette planète, quelle que soit leur race ou leur origine, soient respectés,  c’est-à-dire accès aux services de santé, accès à la nourriture etaccès à l‘éducation ;
  • Promouvoir des programmes devant conduire à un monde sans armes nucléaires,  qui traitent du problème de changement de climat et qui visent la paix internationale.

Nous espérons que ces points susmentionnés demeurentparmiles plus importants  de votre politique étrangère durant les quatre prochaines années. 

Monsieur le Président, “Maintenant est le moment pour nous tous de prendre notre part de responsabilité pour une réponse globale aux défis globaux ».

Nous, les citoyens du monde,  vous prie d’aider le monde à s’embarquerdans une odyssée de paix et de prospérité.

Au début de cette Nouvelle Année 2013, veuillez recevoir, Monsieur le Président,nos souhaits fraternels de bonne santé et de succès sans faille pour vous et votre famille.
